Amex Exploration Inc., a Canadian junior mining company focused on gold exploration, has substantially expanded its land package in Quebec's Abitibi region. The company's flagship Perron Gold Project, located north of Rouyn-Noranda, now encompasses over 500 square kilometers when combined with adjacent properties in Ontario.

The Perron Project has yielded discoveries of both high-grade gold and copper-rich volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) zones. Amex is attracted to the region's potential for high-grade gold mineralization and its existing infrastructure. Eldorado Gold has a 27% stake in Amex, reflecting a strategic investment in the project's prospects.

The consolidated land package, including the Abbotsford and Hepburn projects in Ontario, spans a district-scale area favorable for both high-grade gold and VMS mineralization. The project benefits from accessible infrastructure, including year-round road access, proximity to an airport, and the town of Normétal.

Previous exploration at Perron has identified significant gold discoveries. This land consolidation aims to enhance exploration efficiency and capitalize on the region's geological potential. Amex plans to continue geological mapping and drilling activities to further define mineral resources.
