Amex Exploration Reports Significant Gold Discoveries at Perron Project

Amex Exploration Inc. has reported significant findings from its gold exploration activities in Quebec, Canada. Throughout 2021, the company has published multiple drill results demonstrating high gold concentrations and expanding known mineralized zones.

The primary focus has been on Amex's Perron property, where drilling campaigns have identified several high-grade gold zones. In November 2021, Amex announced a discovery returning 8.25 grams of gold per ton over 44.80 meters, including a notably high-grade section of 602 grams of gold per ton over 0.50 meters. Another interval from the same program yielded 1.22 grams of gold per ton over 64.75 meters.

Further drilling results reported in September 2021 indicated potential for wider gold mineralization at depth. One drill hole intersected 102.07 grams of gold per ton over 6.10 meters, which included a sub-interval of 822.49 grams of gold per ton over 0.60 meters. Earlier in the summer, in June 2021, an exceptionally high-grade intercept of 79.22 grams of gold per ton over 6.15 meters was reported, containing a sub-interval assaying 929.24 grams of gold per ton over 0.50 meters.

In addition to gold discoveries, Amex Exploration has also encountered copper and zinc-bearing VMS (volcanogenic massive sulfide) mineralization on the Perron property. An announcement in September 2021 detailed copper-rich VMS mineralization with assays of 1.93% copper, 0.15% zinc, and significant gold and silver. In August 2021, a high-grade copper discovery was reported, intersecting 2.40% copper.
