Amit Singh Appointed CEO of Omnissa

Digital work platform company Omnissa announced the appointment of Amit Singh as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Singh, who previously served as President of Palo Alto Networks and a co-founder of Google Cloud, is tasked with leading the company's expansion.

Singh succeeds Shankar Iyer, who stepped down from the CEO role. Omnissa operates in the digital workspace and endpoint management market, serving over 15,000 enterprise customers. The company's platform includes unified endpoint management, virtual desktops, and endpoint security.

The company stated that Singh's experience is crucial as AI agents increasingly influence how work is done and endpoints become a central security control point. Omnissa highlighted its leading position in endpoint management, recently ranked first in Gartner's Endpoint Management Tools report.

Angad Singh, a member of Omnissa's Board of Directors from KKR, commented that Singh's background in building enterprise platforms makes him the ideal leader to capitalize on the company's opportunities in the evolving landscape of AI and endpoint management.
