AMPYR Distributed Energy Secures €170 Million Debt Facilities for European Growth

AMPYR Distributed Energy (ADE) announced on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, that it has secured €170 million in debt facilities from existing funding partners Crédit Agricole CIB and Franklin Templeton’s private credit manager Benefit Street Partners (BSP). The capital will be used to accelerate growth across Europe by acquiring and developing distributed renewable energy assets.

The expanded facilities build on ADE's long-term relationships with its lenders and aim to support the development of distributed renewable energy projects in key European markets. This funding follows ADE's recent acquisition of a 70 MW European portfolio from TotalEnergies, solidifying its position as a significant player in the distributed energy sector.

The newly secured financing provides ADE with increased financial flexibility to pursue strategic acquisitions and continue investing in onsite renewable energy infrastructure for commercial and industrial clients. Through long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), ADE funds, owns, and operates these energy assets, enabling businesses to reduce energy costs and improve resilience without upfront investment.

"This financing represents a significant milestone in our growth journey and demonstrates the continued confidence... in our strategy, team, and our long-term vision," said AMPYR Distributed Energy CEO John Behan. "Strengthening our funding platform ensures we have the capital and flexibility to continue investing at pace when opportunities arise."
