AMTD Assists China Boqi Environmental with Hong Kong Listing

AMTD International Inc. helped China Boqi Environmental (Holding) Co., Ltd. complete its initial public offering on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on March 16, 2016. AMTD acted as the Joint Global Coordinator and Joint Bookrunner for the offering.
Boqi Environmental is a significant player among independent flue gas treatment service providers in China. The company raised approximately $77 million in gross proceeds from its IPO, offering 252 million shares at an issue price of HKD 2.40 each.
The offering saw strong investor demand, resulting in a five-fold oversubscription. Yunnan Energy Investment was a cornerstone investor. Boqi Environmental is also expanding its business into other environmental protection and energy conservation sectors, including sewage treatment and solid waste management.
The company is also pursuing international expansion, offering its services to markets in Europe, South Asia, Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia, leveraging China's "Belt and Road" initiative.
