AMTD Group Signs Cooperation Agreement with Hubei Government

AMTD Group Chairman and President Calvin Choi met with a delegation from the Hubei provincial government at the company's Hong Kong headquarters to discuss expanding strategic cooperation. The two parties explored opportunities for collaboration, with AMTD expressing its intention to increase investments and expand its strategic plan within Hubei province.

The delegation, led by Jun Qin, Head of the Hubei Provincial Government Department of Commerce, engaged in discussions focused on global capital markets, financial cooperation, innovation, and talent cultivation. AMTD, described as a comprehensive financial institution based in Hong Kong, stated its aim to facilitate strategic partnerships with Hubei.

As part of the planned expansion, AMTD intends to establish a regional headquarters in Hubei. The company also plans to deepen its engagement in areas such as innovative economy, smart technology, and talent development. Furthermore, AMTD is considering the establishment of a talent training center in Hubei to foster internationalization among students from local higher education institutions.
