Amtech Integrates AI Agent to Accelerate Order-to-Cash Process
Amtech Software has launched a new AI agent for email intake, automating the conversion of inquiries into structured data for corrugated packaging manufacturers.
Fort Washington, Pennsylvania – Amtech Software has introduced a new embedded AI agent to accelerate the order-to-cash process for corrugated packaging manufacturers using its Amtech Quick Quote software.
The new feature, named Email Intake Agent, processes incoming emails and their attachments. The AI interprets free-text requests and converts them into structured quote data, reducing manual data entry and speeding up quotation times.
According to Amtech, fast quoting is critical for winning orders but has traditionally been time-consuming. The email intake agent reduces the need for manual transcription of information such as dimensions, materials, and quantities from customer requests into the system. Instead, it drafts spec lines, allowing customer service and estimators' initial touchpoint to be closer to completion.
Each extracted value is shown with a confidence level, and information missing from the email text or attachments is clearly marked. Customer service and estimators retain control over the process, adding value through oversight and decision-making. Amtech plans to preview additional AI use cases at its upcoming user conference in Nashville, October 11-14.
