Amway Nutrilite Scientists Address Consumer Questions on Products
Amway's Nutrilite brand scientists have responded to popular consumer inquiries regarding product ingredients, usage, and nutritional benefits, emphasizing the brand's 'Best of Nature and Best of Science' approach.

Amway's Nutrilite brand experts have addressed consumer questions concerning product ingredients, nutritional benefits, and usage, following an Instagram campaign that solicited user inquiries. The responses aim to clarify the science and sourcing behind the Nutrilite supplement line.
In the Q&A, scientists confirmed that Nutrilite currently uses folic acid as its source for Vitamin B9, citing scientific consensus on its efficacy. They also clarified that Nutrilite All Plant Protein and XS Whey Protein can be combined, noting the latter contains dairy. The brand stated it does not offer supplements specifically for hair loss, reminding consumers that their products are not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions.
Amway emphasized that the necessity and combination of supplements depend on individual needs, strongly recommending consultation with a healthcare professional before starting new supplements or combining multiple products. Nutrilite Daily was highlighted as a multivitamin option to help bridge dietary gaps, containing essential vitamins, minerals, and plant-based phytonutrients.
The company referenced the Nutrilite Phytonutrient Report, noting that 75% of adults do not consume enough fruits and vegetables daily, positioning supplements as a way to supplement dietary nutrient intake rather than replace whole foods. For vegan consumers, Amway advised consulting local market representatives to identify suitable products. Regarding product sourcing, Amway clarified that while some ingredients are grown on certified organic farms, Nutrilite products are not entirely organic, as they incorporate synthetic ingredients when science indicates a superior benefit or a more practical dosage form.
Consumers were advised against using expired vitamins, as the labeled nutrient levels are not guaranteed beyond the expiration date. Amway also recommended that consumers check with their local market for specific product information regarding gluten content, as formulations vary by region.
