Amway Reports $7.4 Billion in Sales for 2024, Nutrition Category Grows

Amway, the world's largest direct selling company, announced sales of $7.4 billion USD for the year ending December 31, 2024. This figure represents a 3% decline compared to the previous year, a drop the company attributes to the strength of the U.S. dollar. Despite the overall decrease, Amway noted positive momentum in key areas, particularly within its health and nutrition sectors.

The nutrition category experienced a 2% growth, now making up 64% of Amway's global sales. This increase is linked to rising consumer demand for science-backed products supporting health and wellness. The company's Nutrilite brand maintained its position as the world's best-selling vitamin and dietary supplement brand.

Under the leadership of new CEO Michael Nelson, who took the helm in September 2024, Amway emphasized strategic investments and product innovation. The company introduced "solutions" in most markets – curated product combinations paired with recommended daily habits aimed at promoting a more holistic approach to wellbeing, including offerings focused on gut health.

Amway also continued to invest in its global headquarters in Ada, Michigan, enhancing manufacturing, quality control, and research and development capabilities. The company reported increased efforts in sustainability, including reduced energy consumption and greater use of renewable energy across its operations.

With a focus on innovation in health and wellness offerings and under new leadership, Amway is positioning itself for future growth and expanded market impact.
