Amway Reports on Botanical Research and Microbiome Studies
Amway's research division has published recent updates focusing on the potential of plant-based compounds and advancements in understanding the gut microbiome.

Amway's Research & Development division has released details on its recent scientific endeavors, highlighting investigations into plant-based compounds and the human gut microbiome.
In October 2025, the company noted research using a fruit fly model suggesting that botanicals may hold potential for improving healthspan parameters. This follows an August 2025 announcement regarding a plant-based breakthrough for skin health derived from an advanced research model.
Further research into the gut microbiome was detailed in July 2025, with the introduction of a new "in vitro" laboratory method designed to predict the potential effects of nutrients on gut bacteria. Additionally, in June 2025, Amway reported encouraging findings on supporting gut health through a daily primer supplement.
The company also deepened its strategic partnership with South Korean microbiome firm HEM Pharma in June 2025, underscoring its focus on microbiome innovation. Earlier in the year, the Amway Scientific Advisory Board affirmed the importance of strategic collaborations in April 2025.
