Chinese technology company ANBERNIC has officially presented its forthcoming RG SP handheld console, focusing on enhanced emulation capabilities. The device is designed to appeal to retro gaming enthusiasts with its ability to run classic titles.

The RG SP sports a 3.4-inch IPS display with a 720x480 resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by an Allwinner H700 processor and 1GB of RAM, supported by a 3000mAh battery. The console will be available in four color options: platinum silver, pearl blue, graphite black, and pearl pink, featuring a metallic design.

A key feature highlighted is the console's ability to emulate Game Boy Advance (GBA) games with 3x native resolution support, aiming to provide a sharper visual experience for titles like 'Fire Emblem' and 'Pokémon Emerald'. Beyond GBA, the device can also run games from platforms such as Game Boy, Game Boy Color, PSP, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, and Sega Saturn.

Additionally, the RG SP supports PC game streaming and local multiplayer through Netplay, with Bluetooth controller connectivity. ANBERNIC is positioning the RG SP as a versatile option for playing a wide array of retro games on a single, portable device.
