Andreas Jonsson appointed site manager at Bygdsiljum Sawmill

Holmen announced that Andreas Jonsson will assume the role of site manager at the Bygdsiljum sawmill on September 1. Jonsson, who currently serves as the facility's production manager for the sawmill section, replaces Olov Martinson following his 40-year tenure at the plant.

According to the company, the selection process for the position was highly competitive, attracting approximately 40 applicants. Mattias Forslund, Industrial Manager at Holmen Wood Products, stated that Jonsson was selected due to his background at the site and his established management track record.

Jonsson has held his current position at the sawmill for six years. He will be responsible for overseeing ongoing business operations and management of the facility's personnel.

The Bygdsiljum sawmill remains a central part of Holmen's industrial footprint in the region.
