Andreas Müller-Vondey Appointed CEO of HD PLUS GmbH
Andreas Müller-Vondey assumed the position of CEO of HD PLUS GmbH in May 2023. He succeeds Norbert Hölzle and aims to advance the company's development.

Andreas Müller-Vondey officially took over as CEO of HD PLUS GmbH in May 2023. He succeeds Norbert Hölzle, who has moved to the role of Global Head of Media at SES, the parent company of HD PLUS.
Müller-Vondey, born in 1968, brings extensive experience from the media sector. His previous roles include various sales positions at Premiere and leading sales and marketing at HD PLUS.
The new CEO intends to build upon the work of his predecessor, focusing on the continued development of HD PLUS. He highlighted the company's HD+ TV app, integrated into numerous televisions, as a key factor in providing easy access to its services. Müller-Vondey also emphasized the importance of close collaboration with SES and ASTRA, as well as with partners, retailers, and end customers.
About HD+: HD+ provides consumers in Germany access to high-definition television and convenience services via satellite and IP. Launched in 2009 for satellite households, HD+ expanded to IP in 2021 and is now also available via an IP TV stick, making it technically accessible to all German TV households. The HD+ TV app is integrated into new devices from leading manufacturers, offering features like program restart and pause. With HD+, consumers can watch over 100 channels in HD quality, including 25 major private channels, three UHD channels, and free-to-air HD channels. HD PLUS GmbH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the satellite operator SES.
