Anduril CEO Defends Contracts, Highlights Growth Under Biden
Defense technology firm Anduril's CEO, Brian Schimpf, has defended the company's government contracts, stating they have achieved significant success under the Biden administration.

Anduril CEO Brian Schimpf has addressed questions surrounding the company's government contracts, characterizing them as competitive procurements won on merit.
In an interview with CNBC, Schimpf stated the company has "done incredibly well under Biden," describing it as "one of the biggest ramps that we’ve had as a company." He also noted his personal political stance, saying, "I’m a lifelong Dem and have great relationships on both sides of the aisle."
This comes after the U.S. Navy announced an up to $2.9 billion contract with Anduril on October 6. The company also secured a multi-year Department of Defense contract worth up to $20 billion in March.
Concerns have been raised regarding co-founder Palmer Luckey's ties to the Trump administration and his appointment to a Pentagon study group. Schimpf, however, asserts that all procurements go through a rigorous competitive process, and Anduril wins based on its merits.
Anduril recently launched an employee tender offer valuing the company at $90 billion, a move intended to provide liquidity to employees without the volatility of stock price fluctuations.
