Angel Aligner Introduces "Pressure Points" in Europe, Replacing Torque Ridges

Angelalign Technology Inc. has introduced "Pressure Points," a new feature for its clear aligner system, to the European market. This enhancement replaces the company's existing torque ridges, aiming to provide orthodontists with improved control over torque application during dental treatments.

The "Pressure Points" feature is the result of Angel aligner's ongoing research into improving clinical predictability and efficiency. It is designed to offer more predictable force application through a simplified dimple shape, directing force towards a specific pressure point. The company states this increases tooth contact by 25 percent, allowing for better control of tooth movement, particularly when using a scalloped trimline.

Initially available for single-unit torque corrections, "Pressure Points" is planned for future expansion to address rotation and intrusion. Angelalign Technology highlights that this digital feature offers superior precision and scalability compared to manually created pressure points, addressing a long-standing clinical practice.

Founded in 2003, Angelalign Technology Inc. is a global provider of clear aligner solutions, serving over 60 countries. The company, listed on the stock exchange since 2021, emphasizes its commitment to clinical innovation. Xavier Cherbavaz, General Manager and Vice President for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, stated that the launch of "Pressure Points" continues this tradition of developing advanced solutions for dental professionals.
