Chinese tech news outlet IT Home announced that the first theatrical animated film from the "Under One Person" series, titled "Mianshan Blood Battle," is slated for a 2027 release. The film is based on the popular Chinese comic series.

Chinese technology news outlet IT Home has announced that the first theatrical animated film based on the "Under One Person" (一人之下) series, titled "Under One Person: Mianshan Blood Battle" (一人之下・绵山血战), is set to be released in 2027.
The film draws inspiration from the popular Chinese comic and depicts a life-and-death struggle between ten masters of the Tang clan and the Hiekkakivi Ninjas (比壑忍忍众). The story is set against the backdrop of China's War of Resistance and focuses on the "Dan Shi" technique and the fight to protect the nation, described as the series' most ambitious and action-packed chapter.
Original comic artist Mi Er has personally penned the screenplay, aiming to preserve the core narrative and the distinct "Under One Person" atmosphere. The comic itself has been serialized online since February 2015, following university student Zhang Chulan and the mysterious girl Feng Baobao as they uncover the truth of the supernatural world and its hidden connections to contemporary society.
The "Under One Person" franchise has previously seen other animated adaptations, with "Under One Person 6" premiering on Tencent Video in January 2026. The upcoming theatrical release in 2027 signifies the franchise's expansion into the cinema market.
