Ant Group releases LingGuang 2.0 AI assistant
Ant Group has updated its AI assistant, LingGuang 2.0, to feature persistent memory and autonomous task management capabilities that function beyond active user sessions.

Ant Group has launched LingGuang 2.0, an AI assistant capable of managing persistent tasks independently. By maintaining an ongoing memory of user requirements, the tool can monitor changes and follow up on actions without requiring manual input at every stage, provided the user has granted authorization.
The assistant is integrated with various platforms, including Alipay for subscription tracking, DingTalk for task extraction, and Feishu and Xiaomi’s Mijia smart-home ecosystem. It utilizes MCP protocols and command-line interfaces to allow connectivity with external digital tools.
This update follows a limited testing phase conducted earlier this month. The shift toward persistent AI assistants reflects an industry trend focused on proactive service management rather than reactive prompt-based interaction.
