Anta Scaffolding Tapped for Al Maktoum International Airport Project

Suzhou Anta Scaffolding Engineering Co., Ltd. has been appointed as a specialized scaffolding contractor for a portion of the Al Maktoum International Airport project in Dubai. The company will support China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC), a subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company, which is handling underground structural works as part of the airport's Phase I expansion.

The Al Maktoum International Airport is a major component of the Dubai World Central development, envisioned to become one of the world's largest aviation hubs. The project involves a total investment of approximately $35 billion, with the first phase slated for completion by 2032. Anta Scaffolding's involvement marks a significant international infrastructure project for the company.

Anta Scaffolding's current scope includes scaffolding for underground construction, specifically related to the baggage handling center and tunnel sections. The company reports that its project team, personnel, and equipment are mobilized and on-site, with work progressing as scheduled. The project is proceeding during Dubai's summer months, necessitating modified work schedules to accommodate high temperatures.

The company highlighted that its local Dubai office facilitates communication and coordination with other project stakeholders, a crucial factor for managing complex, cross-border construction efforts. Anta Scaffolding views its role in this megaproject as a key reference for its international infrastructure endeavors.
