Anthropic Launches Claude Cowork on Mobile and Web

Anthropic's Claude Cowork AI platform is expanding its availability to mobile and web devices starting Tuesday.

The expanded access will initially be rolled out to Max subscribers, with wider availability for other Claude users expected in the coming weeks. Previously, Claude Cowork was only accessible through the Claude desktop application on macOS and Windows.

Users on iOS and Android devices can now also utilize the platform. However, Anthropic notes that the "full experience" for Cowork will remain on the desktop app, including features such as local file access.

Cowork sessions will now run in the cloud by default, allowing users to continue their work across different devices or run Cowork in the background.
