Anthropic reports significant revenue growth and massive compute commitments in updated IPO filing
AI firm Anthropic has released an amended S-1 prospectus detailing third-quarter financials, showing a 1,200% revenue jump alongside nearly $900 billion in committed infrastructure spending.

Artificial intelligence developer Anthropic has filed an amended S-1 prospectus with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, providing investors with updated financial performance data. The company reported $33.24 billion in revenue for the nine months ended Sept. 30, representing a 1,200% increase over the same period in 2025.
Despite the rapid revenue growth, the company recorded a net loss of $104 billion for the nine-month period. Much of this loss is attributed to changes in the fair value of convertible notes and derivative liabilities, which have weighed heavily on bottom-line results as the company prepares for its public offering.
Anthropic’s business model remains capital-intensive, driven by the substantial hardware and infrastructure required to train its Claude family of AI models. The amended filing revealed that the company has entered into purchase commitments and lease agreements totaling $895.4 billion, almost all of which is dedicated to expanding compute capacity.
