Anthropic to invest $100m in AI engineer academy
AI company Anthropic announced a $100 million investment in its Claude Frontier Academy, a training program for AI engineers. The initiative aims to train 10,000 engineers by the end of 2027.

AI company Anthropic announced on October 2nd that it will invest US$100 million in the Claude Frontier Academy, a training program for AI engineers. The US-based startup, which develops AI models, stated that the academy aims to train 10,000 "frontier deployed engineers" from companies within its Claude Partner Network by the end of 2027.
The first groups of engineers participating in the program will come from companies including Accenture, Morgan Stanley, and Novo Nordisk. The academy's curriculum starts with a simulated enterprise deployment and a graded assessment, followed by a residency period. The first engineers are expected to achieve certification in early 2027.
This initiative builds upon Anthropic's existing enterprise collaborations, notably with Accenture, where joint efforts focus on AI model deployment and embedded evaluation for customers. Anthropic reported nearly US$4.6 billion in revenue last year, alongside an operating loss exceeding US$8 billion.
The investment underscores Anthropic's strategy to scale its AI capabilities and meet the growing demand for specialized talent in the rapidly evolving artificial intelligence sector.
