Antoine Fady Appointed as Guerbet's New Board Chairman
Antoine Fady has been appointed as a "censeur" (non-voting director) of Guerbet's Board of Directors. He is slated to succeed Hugues Lecat, who is stepping down for personal reasons.
Villepinte, March 11, 2026 – Guerbet, a global specialist in contrast agents and solutions for medical imaging, announced today the appointment of Antoine Fady as a "censeur" (non-voting director) to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.
The appointment of Fady as a director, and subsequently as Chairman to succeed Hugues Lecat, will be submitted for approval at the next Shareholders' Meeting. Lecat is stepping down from his duties for personal reasons.
Fady brings extensive experience from leading large industrial companies and a strong understanding of governance. Guerbet stated that his strategic vision will be a valuable asset to support the company's transformation and future achievements.
Fady holds an engineering degree and an MBA. He previously served as CEO of Flint Group for over a decade and held senior management positions at ICI and Akzo Nobel. He also has experience as a non-executive director and board chairman for companies including Roquette and XSYS. Guerbet, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, offers a comprehensive range of products and solutions for medical imaging and invests significantly in research and development. The company reported revenues of €786 million in 2025.
