Anything AI launches AI agents for business operations
San Francisco-based Anything AI has introduced Skydive, a product allowing companies to create AI agents for various job functions. The AI assistants integrate with business communication tools and can operate around the clock.

San Francisco-based startup Anything AI has launched Skydive, a product that enables companies to create and deploy AI agents to perform a range of business tasks. Founded by former Google product leads Dhruv Amin and Marcus Lowe, the company has raised $11 million in funding at a $100 million valuation.
Skydive allows users to define an AI agent's role and responsibilities by providing a job description or selecting from pre-designed templates. These AI agents can then be integrated into a company's workflow, appearing in platforms like Slack and email. They can also be reached via their own phone numbers and operate continuously.
Anything AI itself utilizes over 150 AI agents internally, with about ten considered essential to its operations. CEO Dhruv Amin describes the experience of working with these agents as feeling like "almost coworkers." The company emphasizes that the AI agents are not intended to deceive users into believing they are human, but rather to provide efficient task assistance.
The development process involves training and refining the agents' behaviors and tones. While the AI agents can significantly streamline workflows, they have also made mistakes. Amin recounts an instance where an agent misread a calculation, leading to a false report of a million-dollar loss. He stresses the importance of learning from these errors and clearly defining boundaries for the agents' tasks.
