APA-NewsDesk Consolidates News Feeds onto One Platform
APA-Comm has launched its revamped APA-NewsDesk service, consolidating news, images, graphics, and videos. The platform aims to streamline information retrieval and content creation.

APA-Comm has enhanced its central news and data hub, APA-NewsDesk, providing media, companies, and organizations with access to a comprehensive range of content through a single interface.
The platform's objective is to consolidate all of APA's own news content, alongside contributions from external suppliers and partner agencies, encompassing text, images, graphics, videos, and data. Users can integrate this service with APA's media database, which holds approximately 165 million documents, constituting Austria's largest media archive.
APA-NewsDesk is structured into modules covering news, events, data, images, graphics, and an AI-assisted text assistant. The News module offers a customizable dashboard, monitoring capabilities, alerts, and extensive cross-media searches within the APA-Comm media database. The Images module functions as Austria's largest picture agency, featuring 60 million images.
Additionally, the platform includes tools for event planning and scheduling (Agenda), data dossiers, and the creation of infographics and visualizations. The AI-powered APA-Text-Assistant is designed to support content creation workflows.
The service is accessible as an online platform requiring an active APA account. APA-Comm, part of the APA-Gruppe, operates as a news agency and offers various communication and IT solutions.
