Apacer Technology Inc. has detailed the warranty conditions for its industrial-grade SATA and PCIe Solid State Drives (SSDs). The warranty coverage is now defined by a dual condition: it will last for five years from the date of purchase or until the drive reaches its maximum Terabytes Written (TBW) limit, whichever occurs first.

The company's enterprise SATA SSDs are subject to these terms. Each model and capacity variant has a specific TBW rating. For instance, the SV24E-25 model with 240GB capacity is rated for 560 TBW, while the 960GB version offers 2255 TBW. The ST18E-25 series, in its 7680GB configuration, is specified with a TBW limit of 14650.

Similarly, Apacer's enterprise PCIe SSDs have defined TBW limits. The PV19E-25W model, at 6400GB capacity, is rated for 35040 TBW, with the 12800GB version reaching 70080 TBW. M.2 form factor drives like the PV25E-M280 and PV16E-M280 also have capacity-dependent TBW ratings, starting from several hundred terabytes.

TBW is a key metric for SSD endurance, indicating the total amount of data that can be written to the drive over its lifespan. For industrial applications, where drives often undergo continuous data writing under demanding conditions, TBW ratings are critical for ensuring reliability and predicting service life.
