Apacer Releases SM210-300 mSATA SSD for Industrial Applications
Apacer Technology Inc. has introduced its SM210-300 mSATA SSD, designed for demanding industrial and embedded systems. The drive offers enhanced performance and reliability in a compact form factor.
Apacer Technology Inc. has released the SM210-300 mSATA SSD, targeted at industrial applications. Housed in a compact JEDEC MO-300 form factor, the drive utilizes a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface to deliver high read and write speeds, making it suitable for space-constrained embedded or server operations with heavy workloads.
The drive's performance is enhanced by an internal DRAM controller, which boosts random performance. Apacer highlights the SM210-300's reliability through features such as a robust hardware ECC engine, power-saving modes, global wear-leveling, flash block management, S.M.A.R.T. monitoring, TRIM support, and power failure management.
Available in capacities ranging from 8GB to 512GB, the Mini PCIe-form SM210-300 is designed for challenging operating conditions. It features an operating temperature range of 0 to +70 degrees Celsius, with an extended range of -40 to +85 degrees Celsius. The device boasts a Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) exceeding one million hours.
Key specifications include a 4K random write performance of up to 79K IOPS and sustained write speeds of 360 MB/s. The drive also supports ATA Secure Erase and DEVSLP power mode, positioning it as a suitable option for sustained and stable operation in industrial settings.
