Apacer Unveils Edge AI Storage Solutions at Computex 2026

Apacer is exhibiting a range of hardware solutions at Computex 2026 designed to support the growing demands of Edge AI applications. As these systems transition from testing to deployment, Apacer aims to address technical bottlenecks such as thermal dissipation and high-bandwidth data processing.

A core component of the exhibit is the collaboration with AI semiconductor firm DEEPX. The resulting integrated storage system combines SSD and NPU architectures to deliver 50 TOPS of inference performance. To manage the high heat generated by these tasks, Apacer has introduced specialized thermal technologies, including its GraTherX and CoreGlacier designs, which claim to increase module longevity by reducing operating temperatures.

Beyond industrial applications, the company is diversifying its portfolio with high-speed DDR5 memory and SSDs, including a co-developed line with the ASUS ROG brand. CEO Zhang Jia-Kai stated that the company plans to continue focusing on vertical AI integration through strategic partnerships to support smart manufacturing and retail sectors.
