Baltimore, Maryland – Apkudo, provider of the Device Passport™ Platform, has introduced a new device processing system named RSA (Robotic Solution for Automation). The company states this is the first zero-touch automation system built for the processing of foldable devices, tablets, and other modern electronic devices.
The RSA system operates on the Apkudo Device OS™ and is described as a compact physical AI system. Apkudo claims it is the only system on the market capable of automating cosmetic and functional inspection for complex device form factors without requiring hardware reconfiguration.
This capability suggests the system can handle and inspect devices, such as the foldable smartphones recently released, without manual intervention or specialized adjustments for each individual device model.
Apkudo anticipates that RSA will significantly accelerate and improve efficiency on production lines for device manufacturers and carriers. The system aims to reduce errors and enhance accuracy in device quality control.
