Apple acknowledges competitors copying its product development
Apple CEO John Ternus and Marketing Head Greg Joswiak admitted the company was aware of competitors replicating its product development.

Apple is aware that its competitors have been copying its product development, particularly concerning new product lines. CEO John Ternus and Greg Joswiak, head of marketing, discussed the issue in an interview with TechRadar.
"People knew through leaks that we were working on a foldable," Joswiak stated. He acknowledged that competitors also obtained information regarding the correct aspect ratio and other details, leading to the swift appearance of similar products on the market.
The issue is exacerbated by shared global suppliers. When multiple companies utilize the same component manufacturers, keeping new products secret during the development phase becomes challenging.
Apple now faces a situation where its own ideas and plans appear to emerge in competitors' devices before official releases. This raises questions about Apple's ability to protect its intellectual property and maintain its competitive edge in a crowded market.
