Apple AirPods Prices Reduced in China With Government Subsidies
Apple's AirPods 5 and AirPods Pro (3rd Gen) are now available at reduced prices in select Chinese regions due to a 15% government subsidy. The discounts apply to deliveries within specific provincial areas.

Apple is offering reduced prices on its AirPods 5 and AirPods Pro (3rd Generation) in several regions across China, facilitated by a 15% government subsidy program. The promotion is specifically available for deliveries to areas including Guangdong, Hunan, Beijing, Jiangsu, Jilin, Hebei, Yunnan, and Sichuan provinces.
The AirPods Pro (3rd Generation), originally priced at 1899 yuan, can be purchased for as low as 1316 yuan after the subsidy. This model features upgraded active noise cancellation and a heart rate sensor.
Meanwhile, the AirPods 5, which includes active noise cancellation, sees its price drop to a starting point of 758 yuan in eligible regions. This lowest price requires the use of additional coupons, available to select customers, and represents a new low for the product. The AirPods 5 boasts a new acoustic architecture and adaptive EQ for enhanced sound.
The discounted sales are being facilitated through the e-commerce platform JD.com. This initiative is part of broader efforts to stimulate consumer spending, offering significant savings on Apple's popular audio products for residents in the designated provinces.
