Apple AirTag Bundle Price Drops

Apple has reduced the price of its AirTag bundles, with a four-pack now available for $89 at both Amazon and Target. Additionally, Costco is offering members a fifth AirTag at no extra cost.

The updated AirTags utilize Apple's Find My network and feature an improved ultra-wideband (UWB) chip for enhanced Precision Finding. This capability guides users with on-screen arrows and distance indicators in the Find My app to locate misplaced items. The upgraded chip and extended Bluetooth range contribute to faster and more reliable locating, even in multi-story homes. Precision Finding can also be used with an Apple Watch Series 9 or later.

The built-in speaker on the AirTag has also been made louder, aiding in audio-based location. New travel-centric features include item sharing with up to five people. Users can also temporarily share an AirTag's location with participating airlines, such as United, Delta, and American Airlines.

While the AirTag still lacks an integrated loop and requires a separate accessory, it uses a replaceable CR2032 battery for extended use. The $89 price point for a four-pack makes the device more accessible.
