Apple HomeHub Device Photo Display Interface Leaked
Apple's rumored HomeHub home hub may feature a photo display function, with an interface design similar to the standby mode of the iPhone Duo concept phone.
Recent leaks suggest Apple is developing a home hub device named HomeHub, which may include a photo display feature. Users could reportedly select various photo collections, memories, or shared albums from iCloud to be shown on the device's screen.
The interface is said to resemble the standby mode seen in the iPhone Duo concept phone, designed to present content when the device is not actively in use. This potential feature might explain the absence of similar standby mode support for iPhone Duo within Apple's development tools.
The HomeHub device is expected to feature a roughly 6-inch screen with a square body, reminiscent of an iPad. It is also said to include a dock with a hemispherical metal base and a supporting arm connecting to the screen, a design that recalls the iMac G4.
While the device might not support the App Store, it could handle core applications like Calendar, Weather, Music, and Messages. The HomeHub is also rumored to recognize different household users and display personalized widgets accordingly.
