Apple HomeView smart home hub: wall-mount version requires separate bracket

Apple has released its smart home hub, HomeView. The wall-mount version is sold without a mounting bracket, which must be purchased separately.

13 October 2026

Apple has officially launched its smart home hub, HomeView, priced at $299. The device is available in two configurations: one with a speaker base and a wall-mount version.

A key detail for the wall-mount version is that it does not include a mounting bracket, requiring users to purchase one separately. Apple's official website now lists three different mounting bracket options, manufactured by Schneider Electric.

The available bracket options include the "Power Mount USB-C" connector for $59.95. The "Power Mount AC" version, designed for mains power, is priced at $79.95.

The "Power Mount PoE" model, utilizing Power over Ethernet technology, costs $129.95 and is expected to be available in early 2027. The separate purchase of these accessories adds to the overall cost of the wall-mounted HomeView unit.
