Apple Increases Custom Email Domain Quotas in iCloud
Apple has raised the number of personal email addresses allowed per custom domain in iCloud+ from three to ten.
Apple has recently increased the maximum number of personal email addresses that can be created per custom email domain within its iCloud+ service. Users can now set up to ten email addresses using their own domain, an increase from the previous limit of three.
This change applies to iCloud+ subscribers who utilize the feature to use their own domain names for email, such as "name@yourdomain.com," while still leveraging iCloud Mail services. All emails sent to these addresses are unified in the user's primary iCloud inbox, but can be sent from any of the designated addresses.
The new maximum of ten email addresses is applicable for each custom domain. In parallel, Apple has also expanded the limit for standard iCloud Mail aliases from three to nine. These aliases allow users to create multiple email addresses under a single iCloud account without needing a custom domain, often used for subscriptions, privacy protection, or email organization.
The adjustments to iCloud Mail's address limits were updated at the end of September. These updates offer users greater flexibility and personalization options for managing their email communications through Apple's services.
