Apple iPhone 18 Pro Series Tax-Free Prices Released in Hainan
Apple's new iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models are now available at tax-free prices in Hainan. The tax-free prices are lower than Apple's official retail prices, with savings ranging from 200 to 1430 yuan.
Apple's latest iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max smartphones are now available for purchase at Hainan's duty-free shops, offering consumers an opportunity to acquire the devices at a reduced cost. While specific prices may vary by retailer, the tax-free pricing is notably lower than Apple's official retail rates.
For the Pro series, savings of approximately 500–700 yuan are available on the 256GB model, with the 2TB version offering savings up to 1430 yuan. For the Pro Max models, discounts range from 200 yuan to 640 yuan, depending on the storage capacity.
Hainan provides duty-free purchasing under specific conditions. Chinese citizens with Hainan identification cards, residency permits, or social security cards, as well as expatriates working or residing in Hainan, are eligible to buy duty-free goods. The annual quota for duty-free purchases is 10,000 yuan, with no limit on the number of transactions.
However, consumers should note that traveling solely to Hainan for these tax-free prices might not be economically viable due to the costs of airfare and accommodation. The savings are most significant when the purchase is made as part of an existing trip to Hainan.
