Apple iPhone Duo users face restrictions on display zoom settings
Apple's first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, does not allow users to change display zoom settings after the initial setup process.
Users of Apple’s newly released iPhone Duo have reported that display zoom settings—which control the size of system icons and text—become locked following the device's initial configuration. Unlike other iPhone models, the iPhone Duo lacks a dedicated menu option in the settings app to modify these preferences after setup.
According to reports from the Reddit community, Apple support representatives confirmed the absence of a toggle to adjust display scaling post-installation. To change from the "standard" view to a larger format, users are currently required to factory reset the device and repeat the initial setup process.
It remains unclear whether this limitation is a deliberate design choice related to the device’s foldable display architecture or a software defect. Apple has not yet commented on whether a future system update will reintroduce the ability to adjust display scaling without a full data wipe.
