Apple launches 2026 back-to-school promotion in Asia with free AirTags
Apple has initiated its 2026 back-to-school promotion across several Asian markets, including mainland China. Eligible students and educators receive a free accessory, like AirTags, with qualifying Mac or iPad purchases.

Apple commenced its annual 2026 back-to-school promotion early Monday across multiple Asian markets, including mainland China, India, Malaysia, and Singapore.
During the campaign, eligible students and educators can benefit from educational discounts and receive a complimentary accessory or gift card when purchasing select Mac and iPad models. In mainland China, Singapore, and Vietnam, customers will receive a four-pack of AirTags with purchases of qualifying MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iPad Air, or iPad Pro models through Apple's education store.
Offers vary by region. In India, buyers can choose between a four-pack of AirTags or AirPods 4 with Mac purchases, while iPad buyers receive an Apple Pencil Pro. Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand will offer gift cards as part of their promotions.
The promotion excludes certain products, including the MacBook Neo, iPad mini, base iPad, and all desktop Mac models. Customers also have the option to upgrade to higher-value accessories by paying a difference. The campaign is scheduled to run until August 27, 2026.
