Apple Launches AirPods 5 with Adaptive EQ and Active Noise Cancellation

Apple has unveiled its latest audio product, the AirPods 5, at its fall product event. The new earbuds come with an adaptive equalizer feature and enhanced active noise cancellation, promising a more immersive listening experience. The base model is priced at $129, with a wireless charging case version available for $149.
The AirPods 5 are designed with an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance. The active noise cancellation is reported by Apple to be 50% more effective than previous generations. A key new feature is the adaptive audio functionality, which allows the earbuds to seamlessly switch between active noise cancellation and transparency mode based on ambient conditions.
In addition to audio improvements, the AirPods 5 incorporate Apple's intelligent features, including real-time translation and access to world knowledge. Battery life in noise cancellation mode is rated for up to 5 hours on a single charge.
