Apple Launches App Store Indie Games Week
Apple has launched App Store Indie Games Week to showcase titles from independent game developers globally. The initiative brings seven new games to the App Store, including "Sifu" and "No Man's Sky".
Apple commenced its App Store Indie Games Week on October 12 to highlight works from independent game developers worldwide. This event introduces seven new titles to the App Store, many of which are making their debut on the platform or are newly available to a wider audience.
The featured games include "Sifu", "Little Kitty, Big City", "No Man's Sky", "Dome Keeper", "Vampire Crawlers", "Yes, Your Grace 2: Snowfall", and "9 Kings". "Sifu", a third-person kung fu combat game, has been optimized for iPhone and iPad with custom touch controls and controller support.
"No Man's Sky", developed by Hello Games, is set to launch on iPhone and iPad on October 28. The mobile version will include all major content expansions released to date, offering players the chance to explore, trade, and survive in a procedurally generated universe. "Vampire Crawlers", a spin-off of "Vampire Survivors", replaces traditional dodge mechanics with deck-building elements.
Other titles span various genres. "Little Kitty, Big City" is an open-world cat adventure, "9 Kings" is a card strategy kingdom builder, and "Dome Keeper" is a space mining simulation. "Yes, Your Grace 2: Snowfall" focuses on kingdom management and moral choices.
The Indie Games Week initiative emphasizes Apple's commitment to supporting and promoting creativity from smaller studios on its mobile platform.
