Apple Launches New Apple TV 4K with Siri AI
Apple has released an updated Apple TV 4K media player featuring a new chip, Siri AI integration, and remote-free voice commands.
Apple has introduced a new Apple TV 4K media player, priced at $299. The updated device includes a new A19 chip, enabling enhanced artificial intelligence capabilities, particularly for Siri's content discovery features.
A significant upgrade allows users to issue voice commands directly to the device without needing the remote control. The new Apple TV 4K is equipped with three far-field microphones, enabling voice interaction with Siri without a separate remote or a paired HomePod speaker.
The device also supports a four-speaker surround sound experience when connected with HomePod mini 2 or HomePod 2 speakers. The Siri Remote itself has also been updated, now featuring a small speaker to help locate it if misplaced.
The new Apple TV 4K will be available starting November 13. This release underscores Apple's continued focus on improving the intelligence and convenience of its home entertainment offerings.
