Apple is currently testing a refreshed logo for its Apple Music service, as discovered in the third developer beta releases of iOS 17.2 and macOS 17.2. This change signals a potential update to the music streaming platform's visual identity.

The new logo was first showcased by Apple during the recent Apple Music Hall event last month. In the beta versions, developers identified the updated design which utilizes a bold, all-lowercase typeface for "apple music," a departure from its previous iteration.

Developer Aaron Perris initially spotted the revised logo within iOS 17.2 Beta 3. Simultaneously, developer @avstorm also noted the new Apple Music logo in macOS 17.2 Beta 3.

This logo update is part of Apple's ongoing efforts to refine its brand presentation across its suite of services. The move towards a bolder, lowercase design for Apple Music aligns with contemporary design trends and may reflect a broader strategic direction for the company's media offerings.
