Apple is planning significant in-store demonstration events for its forthcoming iPhone Duo foldable phone across its U.S. Apple Store locations. The initiative aims to provide potential customers with ample opportunity to experience the new device firsthand.

According to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, flagship stores like the Fifth Avenue location in New York are expected to feature over 150 demo units. Apple Park's visitor center is slated to have 100 units. Several other Apple Stores will receive between 30 to 40 units, with smaller stores accommodating around 20, an unusually high number for a phone offered in just two colors.

New MagSafe stands are being designed to simultaneously display an unfolded iPhone Duo and two standard iPhone models. Some stores will also feature iPhone Duo units without security devices, allowing customers to test the phone's standby mode. Additionally, Apple is developing new display installations to showcase the folding mechanism of the device, intended to capture attention as customers enter the store.
