Apple Plans October Event for New iPad mini and Mac Models
Apple is reportedly planning an event in late October to unveil an updated iPad mini and three new Mac computers, according to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman.
Apple is expected to hold an event in Los Angeles on October 27–28, focusing on the launch of new products. According to insights from Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, the event is anticipated to introduce an updated iPad mini and three new Mac computer models.
The event is described as a product showcase for content creators, deviating from Apple's typical live-streamed product launch format. It is said to resemble a previous showcase held in New York on October 13.
Among the anticipated hardware updates are 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, which may feature significant redesigns including OLED displays and new M5 Pro/M5 Max chips. A 24-inch iMac equipped with an M6 chip and new color options is also expected. The iPad mini 8 is rumored to include an OLED display and an A20 Pro chip.
Gurman suggests this October event could be Apple's final major product release for 2026. Prior to this, Apple is expected to announce a new HomeView smart home hub and an updated Apple TV 4K.
