Apple releases iOS 27 with Siri AI overhaul
Apple is rolling out its iOS 27 update today, featuring a significant overhaul of the Siri AI assistant. The new AI capabilities are initially available in English as a beta.
Apple has begun distributing its iOS 27 operating system update to compatible devices. The primary focus of this release is Siri AI, a redesigned version of the company's voice assistant leveraging artificial intelligence.
Siri AI is being launched as a beta feature and is currently available only in English. Apple has stated that support for French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish will be added in October. Alongside iOS 27, the company is also releasing updates for watchOS 27, iPadOS 27, and visionOS 27.
The iOS 27 update also introduces a new "Liquid Glass" feature, allowing users to adjust the opacity and clarity of the user interface. Additionally, several built-in applications will receive new icon designs with subtle modifications.
