Apple releases iOS 27.2 with enhanced Siri AI capabilities
The latest Apple software update expands Siri AI with improved contextual memory, new language support, and additional integrations for Messages and FaceTime.
Apple has rolled out its iOS 27.2 software update, focusing on significant functional upgrades for its Siri AI chatbot. The update introduces a memory feature that allows the AI to recall previous user interactions to provide more relevant and personalized responses to future queries.
The system now enables Siri AI to draw from a wider range of data sources, including voicemail, browser history, and photo attachments. Furthermore, Apple has expanded the chatbot's utility by adding support for French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish, marking a shift toward broader international accessibility.
Beyond AI updates, the release includes enhancements for system-native applications. The Messages app now features context-aware suggestions for creating calendar events or reminders directly from chat logs. Additionally, FaceTime users with iPhone 17 or later can utilize a new dual-capture mode, allowing simultaneous video feeds from front and rear cameras during group calls.
The update is available for free to all devices currently compatible with iOS 27 via the settings menu.
