Apple releases watchOS 27.0 developer preview beta 7

Apple has issued the seventh developer preview beta of watchOS 27.0, an update for its Apple Watch devices. The new beta, identified by internal build number 24R5358a, was made available on Thursday, August 24.

This latest beta build is accessible to developers registered with Apple's developer program. They can install the update by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update on their Apple Watch. The release comes seven days after the previous beta version was distributed.

The development cycle for watchOS 27.0 has seen a series of beta releases. Previous versions include beta 6 (24R5353a) and beta 5 (24R5347a), which were released in mid-August. Earlier beta versions have been progressively rolled out since June.

Users interested in testing pre-release software can enroll in either Apple's Public Beta Software Program or the paid Apple Developer Program.
