Rumors about Apple's potential entry into the game controller market have circulated for some time. Last week, MacRumors reported finding references to two first-party game controllers within the code for macOS 26.7.
Despite the code discoveries being made in macOS rather than iOS, Gurman states the controllers are designed for iPhone use. Furthermore, he indicates that Beats executives are leading the development of these products.
