Apple reportedly raising AppleCare Plus prices for Macs and iPads

Apple is reportedly set to increase the subscription prices for AppleCare Plus coverage on new Macs and iPads. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, new sign-ups will face monthly price increases of approximately $0.50, or $5 annually. For a new 13-inch MacBook Air, the annual plan is said to rise to $79.99 from $74.99, with the monthly cost increasing to $7.99 from $7.49.

This adjustment mirrors a similar price increase implemented for Apple's iPhone AppleCare Plus plans last year. As of now, these new pricing details have not yet appeared on Apple's US website or in official terms of service. The company has not yet responded to requests for comment.
