Apple reports Greater China revenue growth of 21 percent
Apple’s fiscal fourth-quarter revenue in Greater China reached $17.54 billion, showing year-over-year growth but failing to meet analyst expectations.

Apple recorded $17.54 billion in revenue from its Greater China segment for the fiscal fourth quarter, a 21% increase compared to the same period last year. Despite the annual growth, the figures fell short of the $18.75 billion forecasted by market analysts and marked a 6.8% decline from the previous quarter.
The regional performance diverges from the company's broader financial results. Globally, Apple reported a 12% revenue increase to $114.48 billion, with earnings per share rising 14% to $2.10, both of which surpassed Wall Street projections. While markets in the Americas and Europe outperformed expectations, the Greater China segment faced a slower growth trajectory.
The results coincide with Apple's strategic efforts to maintain its market position in the region. The company is scheduled to begin testing its Apple Intelligence features integrated with Alibaba’s Qwen large language model in mainland China on November 4.
Moving forward, investors remain focused on how these software integrations and shifting consumer demand in China will impact the company's regional recovery in the coming quarters.
