Apple Reports Strong Fourth-Quarter Revenue Growth Amid Pricing Shifts
Apple exceeded market expectations for the fourth quarter of 2026, reporting a 17% surge in iPhone revenue and a 24% increase in Mac sales despite global component cost pressures.
Apple delivered robust financial results for the fourth quarter of 2026, with revenue rising 12% to $114.47 billion. Net income reached $30.71 billion, surpassing analyst estimates of $2 per share as the company achieved a quarterly earnings per share of $2.10.
The company’s decision to increase hardware prices in June to offset rising memory costs did not significantly dampen consumer demand. iPhone revenue hit a September-quarter record of $57.6 billion, while Mac sales grew by 24% to $10.8 billion. These figures suggest strong brand loyalty and sustained demand for Apple’s core hardware lineup.
Performance was not uniform across all divisions, however. iPad revenue declined 10%, and wearables saw an 8% drop. Apple attributed the iPad contraction to the absence of new product launches compared to the same quarter last year. Looking ahead, analysts note that while the company has navigated the current supply chain challenges, fluctuating memory costs remain a potential factor for future pricing strategies.
